Deferred term given surgeon in drug case
Sherman B. Watson an oral surgeon from Cedar Rapids received a deferred sentence on one count of prescribing drugs without medical or dental need. At age 67 he may erase the felony by good behavior for two years, with possible 10 year prison if he fails. He must participate in rehab per his probation.
