U of I to remodel Oakdale dorm to ease overcrowding
University of Iowa housing officials will remodel an Oakdale building, converting it from a former nurses dormitory to add 72 beds for the 1981-82 year. The project, costing about 20000, aims to accommodate high demand with priority for freshmen and new students, while offering meal options or cash-only dining at Oakdale.
