Miss Wheelchair Iowa will be held May 22 at 2 p.m. at Camp Sunnyside Des Moines. Winner goes to Columbus national contest in late September. event sponsored by Great Plains Chapter Para lyzed Veterans of America. Eligibility requires a woman 18 or older using a wheelchair at least 50 percent of the time. Entrants may be married or single. Judging focuses on personal achievement personality and appearance.
