Yanks Take Day Off Go Fishing with Grenades
In Italy on a day off, Bill Munson and a small party used hand grenades to fish the Volturno. They launched several grenades from a motorboat, attracting curious locals as they failed to catch large fish, finally returning with a dozen small ones. The group included Lt. George T. Carter, Lt. Robert Conklin, and Carleton Kent of the Chicago Times.
