Iowa City plans moving historic buildings by 2011
The Cedar Rapids Historic Preservation Commission weighs moving seven buildings on Second and Third avenues SE to nearby lots for a medical district. A 1930 Roman Apartments property is eligible for the National Register. tax credits may cover half moving costs.
