In Chicago, 14 pitchers saw action as Cincinnati rallied from a five run deficit to beat the Cubs 10 to 7 in 12 innings. Freddie Benavides delivered a two run double in the 12th, Glenn Braggs sparked the rally with a leadoff single, and Norm Charlton closed the 11th jam before Rob Dibble finished.
