Iowa State settles sex assault suit with ex student

Iowa State University will pay 47500 to former student Taylor Niesen and 32500 in attorneys fees to resolve a lawsuit alleging the university ignored retaliation against Niesen after she reported a 2015 Greek house assault. The deal, not admitted as wrongdoing, also covers related Title IX matters. separate state settlements include 175000 to JaQuan Bradford in a juvenile confinement case.
