Tasty Walnut Tart Wins Grand Prize At CIA Contest
Eric Olson of Ojai California, a Culinary Institute of America student chef, won the grand prize in a CIA student recipe contest sponsored by the Walnut Marketing Board with a Toasted Walnut and Chocolate Tart. The dessert combines dark chocolate, citrus zest, walnuts and Grand Marnier in a crust and ganache, served chilled with candied orange zest and walnut halves.
