Trial reset in child endangerment case over 2007 death
West Branch man Curtis A. Miller, 33, waived speedy trial and pleaded not guilty to amended charges of child endangerment resulting in death and involuntary manslaughter. The trial was moved to Sept 25 in Linn County District Court after previous juror issues during deliberations. If convicted, Miller could face up to 50 years. bond set at 1 million dollars cash.
