New Electric Code Means More Outlets and Safe Fuse Use
The updated national electric code, to be published next fall, requires an outlet every twenty feet along baseboards and mandates hard to tamper fuse plugs one year after publication. It also introduces separate appliance circuits, new steel cell floor conduits, small diameter Latex insulated wire, and high voltage rules, with no need to change existing fuse boxes.
