Drunk driving cases heard in Linn District Court
Ten people charged with drunk driving received judgments from the First Avenue division of Linn District Court. Individuals include Joseph J. Jeilison 22 of 1527 B Ave NE who pleaded guilty to a March 30 charge and was sentenced to 60 days in Linn County Jail with sentence suspended and probation to the Department of Correctional Services plus a $50 fine and costs. Michael R. Moyle 18 of 1335 Fourth Ave Marion pleaded guilty to a November 13 charge and was sentenced to six months in Linn County Jail, sentence suspended and 60 days in Community Corrections Center with probation to the Department of Correctional Services. Roberta R. Koehler 27 of 804 15th St SE found guilty of a February 2 charge after a jury trial, sentenced to 120 days in jail with suspension and probation to the Department of Correctional Services. Steven D. Scenbice 27 of Ely pleaded guilty to a February 25 charge and received a 60-day suspended sentence with probation to the Department of Correctional Services. Others were granted deferred sentences and placed on probation to either an attorney or the Department of Correctional Services. Participants include Lyle H. Slater 50 of Central City arrested January 6, Michael E. Sheldon 31 of 1414 Hamilton St SW arrested February 17, Mark A. Milligan 18 of 700 35th St Marion arrested March 3, Charles D. Sauer 37 of Rowley arrested April 7, Darrell W. Osborn 30 of 5405 Sixth St SW arrested March 10, and Richard D. Spurlock 49 of 811 30th St Drive SE arrested March 29.
