Kathryn Barents and Paul Barents, both 1967 Basic School graduates, survived wounds from friendly fire and combat in Vietnam that left Paul amputated. The duo, along with 516 classmates and families, gather in Arlington for a four day reunion of Class 5-67 from December 1967 to March 1968 amid memorials to the 39 killed and 12 awarded posthumous honors.
