Rare token sells for 3250 at Cedar Rapids coin show
A 1714 Gloucester shilling token sold for 3250 at the 43rd Central States Numismatic Society convention in Cedar Rapids. Only two bids, token second known specimen, with first selling for 36000. Auction manager noted not in best condition and a Washington oval peace medal highlighted later. The market remains slow due to high interest rates.
