Iowa judges among top seminar attendees
Two Iowa jurists rank among the ten most frequent attendees at expense paid seminars for federal judges nationwide. The Center for Public Integrity lists Senior U S District Judge Charles Wolfe and Chief Magistrate Judge Thomas Shields among the top visitors, tied for seven and top respectively. Sponsors included Koch Foundation ExxonMobil Pfizer and Shell with seminars on ethics corporations and liberty.
