Union files grievances over baby monitor eavesdropping incident
AFSCME Local 12 representing about 5,000 University of Iowa workers filed two grievances with UI central human resources regarding an incident in which a baby monitor was used to spy on employees. The grievances allege reprisal and union rights violations. an internal UI investigation led to discipline for two UI Hospitals and Clinics staff.

Ellis Park site chosen for new Cedar Rapids recreation center
