Hundreds visit the Des Moines Art Center to view Grant Wood's American Gothic on its final day in town. The painting drawn more than 40,000 viewers since January 30, before returning to the Art Institute of Chicago for its new wing opening.

DNA denial ends bid to retest murder case evidence
