Rick Morkel of Waterloo won the best of show in the Iowa Pheasants Forever art competition at the Eastern Iowa Sports Show in Cedar Falls. He earns Artist of the Year honors for Pheasants Forever with a top pheasant class entry of two cock pheasants on snow. Prints will be auctioned at PF banquets. Judging occurred March 17 with nine pheasant and 16 non game class entries.
