Judge Rules Clinton Violated Privacy Act Over Letters
U S District Judge Royce Lamberth found that President Clinton released personal letters in 1998 to undermine Kathleen Willey and that action violated the Privacy Act. Clinton disputed the ruling and pledged to appeal while noting the letters were released to refute allegations. The decision opens the door to Willey’s potential lawsuit and prompts further questions for related investigations.
