Wall Opening Expands Cedar Rapids Home Show Booths

The Farm Youth Center wall at Hawkeye Downs was cut to create a 40 foot opening to add display space for Cedar Rapids Home Show exhibitors. More than 60 exhibitors support 114 booths total and demand for larger displays. The event runs April 12 to 17 with nightly stage entertainment and a Queen of Queens contest.

Cedar Rapids Home Builders Association opens flexible Farm Youth Center wall

The Cedar Rapids Home Builders Association cuts a wall to create a 40 foot opening in the Farm Youth Center. The front half and rear show ring are now one exhibit area with four 10 foot hinged doors that lift for events. Parking near the building is arranged and bus service is planned for showgoers. In Charleston, the Model Railway club uses an old passenger coach as a meeting place.
