Marine Missing in Iraq War Toll Heightens Des Moines Family Hope
Two Marines from the 6th Engineer Support Battalion based in Peoria remain missing after crossing a canal in Iraq while James was recovered Tuesday. Korthaus, engaged and awaiting the birth of his son, had planned to marry on his return and was described as eager to serve.
