Fire destroys Postville’s Commercial Hotel in cafe blaze
In Postville the former Commercial Hotel building burned from the basement up to three stories early Saturday. About 20 people were evacuated as flames spread quickly through the brick structure. Coralville Lake Outflow Raised Near Maximum to Control Flooding
The U S Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District reports Coralville Lake in Iowa raised outflow to about 9 000 cubic feet per second as warmer temperatures melt snow and increase inflows.
