Two Iowa candidates risk ballot spots over petition issues
Iowa governor hopeful Ron Corbett and Democratic contender Theresa Greenfield face challenges to stay on the ballot after petition problems. Corbett’s duplicates and errors counted against his 4,005 required signatures while Greenfield’s initial forged signatures led to a revised filing that fell short. A review board will decide Corbett’s fate. Greenfield may seek a party convention route if needed.
