Nurse accused of stealing patient credit card fraud case
Kacey Jo Hicklin 29 of Coralville is charged with three counts of forgery for using a patient X ray visit card at Wal Mart Coralville Coral Ridge Amoco and Target Mall. Each aggravated misdemeanor carries up to two years in prison and a $5000 fine. Hicklin turned herself in and is out on recognizance with travel restricted to Iowa. a April 13 hearing is set.

In Cedar Rapids U S District Judge Linda Reade sentenced two defendants after drug test admissions. Brian Luchtenburg 41 of Waterloo tested positive for methamphetamine and was ordered jailed until a new sentencing date. Andrew Greif 23 of Marion tested positive for marijuana and had pretrial release revoked.

Mount Vernon youths caught on tape burglary at Hillcrest Country Club
Mount Vernon police used a video surveillance tape to identify two teenagers, Joshua Meyer 17 and Dustin Berner 16, for a burglary at Hillcrest Country Club. The break in occurred around 9 30 p m Sunday and liquor and office cash were stolen. Both suspects were arrested on third degree burglary and placed in Juvenile Detention Center.
