Several thousand Serbs gathered across Yugoslavia to mark the anniversary of NATO's air assault on Kosovo. Turnout was lower than expected and many mourned Milosevic while opposition voices criticized the celebrations as inappropriate. In Belgrade about 5 000 attended a rally with banners for Milosevic and images of Mladic. Similar demonstrations occurred in Skopje, Macedonia.
