IE refund set at 3.8 million by Iowa Commission
The Iowa Commerce Commission ruled that a rate increase by Iowa Electric Light and Power on January 1 1977 was unreasonable and ordered a refund of 3.8 million to about 190 000 customers. Power outage hits Blairstown area brief blackout
Strong winds in Blairstown and surrounding rural areas knocked out power for about three hours Saturday morning.
