Children’s Choir From Canada in Two Concerts

The Menonite Children’s Choir of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada will perform in Eastern Iowa on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in First Mennonite Church Iowa City and at 7:30 p.m. at Iowa Mennonite School Kalona. The 40-voice group, founded in 1957 by conductor Helen Litz, sings bilingual repertoire from eight to sixteen year olds. They have appeared with the Winnipeg Symphony and on national radio and TV, earning Canada’s national award for most outstanding children’s choir and festival prizes.
