Health study links red meat to higher death risk
A large federal study of more than 545000 Americans aged 50 to 71 over ten years finds that high red meat and processed meat intake raises death risk from cancer and heart disease. Men show up to 27 percent higher heart death risk and 22 percent higher cancer death risk. women up to 50 percent and 20 percent respectively.
