Rail study consultant chosen for Cedar Rapids area
The Linn County Regional Planning Commission selects DeLeuw, Cather and Co. from five finalists to conduct a detailed rail transportation study for the Cedar Rapids area. If the executive committee agrees on April 19, the firm will draft a study design costing up to $5,000 for submission to the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Federal Railway Administration as part of a FRA grant application due by July 1.
