Former Klan Leader Stephenson Freed From Prison
D C Stephenson, 56, ex Indiana Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan, is released after 25 years of a life sentence. He left Indiana state prison at 6 p m CST with Tulsa awaiting to live with a daughter. He told reporters he will not return to politics and seeks to walk in peace with God.

City approves audit firm and traffic damages settlement
The city council authorized an audit of city finances by Mc Gladrey Hanson Dunn and Company of Cedar Rapids starting April 1. It accepted 232.50 from M. C. and Philip Sweet for damages to a traffic signal and signed a release. City council approves curb cut and statue plan in Greene square
