Intruder stabs Cedar Rapids resident in back
Grace Barron, 29, was stabbed in the back with a pocketknife during a late night home invasion at 140 Rosedale Rd. in Cedar Rapids while her 8-year-old son slept inside. Deputies had previously spotted a hooded man on the property but made no arrest.

Woman accused in Wal-Mart threat in Cedar Rapids
Rhonda Becker, 33, is charged with first-degree harassment after allegedly threatening a Cedar Rapids Wal-Mart with bombing when a World War II video game was out of stock. Non-profit sues former financial manager in embezzlement case
