Rally backs Bush and troops amid anti-war protests in Cedar Rapids
Nearly 200 people gathered on the Second Avenue bridge to support President Bush and U S troops in the Persian Gulf amid counter demonstrations. Organizers Jason Callaway and his family said the silent majority should not be heard, while a counter protester urged ending the war and bringing troops home. Police monitored the scene after a brief clash, with participants citing pride and support for the armed forces.
