Eighth graders push for Hawaii table return to palace

Linn-Mar eighth graders led by Kristen Crabtree Jones launch an email campaign to transfer a mahogany table from Terrace Hill to Iolani Palace in Honolulu. The table, owned by the state since 1969, was donated by Elizabeth Woods in the 1930s and returned to the palace in 1978 after a tour guide noted its 1880s presence in the Hawaiian palace.
