Firing Review Set for Iowa Journalism Professor Woolley
The University of Iowa journalism school will review its decision not to renew Photography Professor Donald K. Woolley’s contract after a faculty committee called for a full reassessment of his promotion case. The Provost ordered a standards based review and possible extension to next year’s first semester. Woolley expects the reprieve to inform future dismissal procedures and pay raise practices.

Two Men Killed in West Iowa Crash
Two men died early Wednesday when their car ran off Highway 59 two miles north of Shenandoah and rolled over several times. Victims were William Sandstedt, 23, of Omaha, and Allen Peasley, 27, of Carter Lake Iowa. Sandstedt was the driver, according to the Iowa highway patrol.
