Clay Williams who retires Friday Richberg will serve until Congress decides the NRA’s future as the program expires June 16 The White House also reorganized the board naming W Witherow from the industrial advisory board and planning to replace Arthur D Whiteside with a new industrial viewpoint member.
William Kuhl, father of Edith 13 and Helen 17, believes he knows the assailant after his daughters were beaten in their Pacific Junction boarding house room. Edith is near death from a fractured skull while Helen, more hopeful, fights for life. Clarence Price, a distant relative, is being questioned as investigators pursue a lead.

Mrs. Vivian Lucille Payne, 42, wife of an Ohio Baptist minister, shot and killed William Ewing, 52, after allegedly discovering her 15-year-old daughter with him in a parked car under compromising circumstances in Pascagoula Mississippi.
Two deaths in eastern Colorado were attributed to severe dust storms that swept western Kansas and eastern Colorado. The victims were Charles Winters, 35, of Springfield and Miss Mary Sloan, 19, of Pritchett. Physicians said they died of pneumonia caused by breathing large quantities of fine sand.
The Senate rejected Borah’s move to restore anti trust laws within the $4.88 billion work relief bill by a 437 to 33 vote. The debate highlighted fears over trusts controlling materials and price fixing under NRA codes.
