Honor Paine Statue in Paris by Free Thinkers

The Free thinkers of America plan a statue for Thomas Paine in Paris to mark his role in the American and French Revolutions. Initial plans tied to his 200th birth anniversary were delayed to April due to technical issues. The Paris site chosen is Place des Etats-Unis, with Joseph Lewis of the Freethinkers of America handling arrangements. Paine was born in England, emigrated to the United States, then returned to England before the French Revolution era.
