In Linn County Court a grieving mother described daily pain after her 15 year old son Aaron Richardson was shot on September 6. The shooter Robert Humbles 14 pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and related charges and faces youthful offender treatment with possible return to adult court at 18.

Randy Schmitt and volunteers turned a neglected 1982 Honda into a fund raiser for Aiming for a Cure. The bike sold for 7,800 at the 2015 banquet and with show raffles raised 8,500 more. Proceeds support children with cancer in Cedar Rapids.
