State Integrity Index Scores Reflect Law Strengths
The State Integrity Index ranks states by the strength of their laws and practices in governance and accountability. It evaluates transparency, anti corruption measures, oversight, and public access to information to highlight how effectively states deter misuse and promote integrity.
Iowa ranks seventh in state integrity study
The Gazette and IowaWatch.org report, part of the State Integrity Investigation, finds Iowa public officials limit public scrutiny in many operations. Iowa scored 78 out of 100, excelling in open records less so compared with openness and anti corruption laws.
