Iowa University lands 1.2 million for circulation research

The University of Iowa receives a five year, 2.1 million grant from the National Heart and Lung Institute to study peripheral circulation in four areas: high blood pressure, cardiac disease, peripheral vascular disease, and coronary artery disease. Principal investigator Dr. Francois M. Abboud leads an interdisciplinary team across internal medicine, pharmacology, physiology, and physical education.
