Thai Foreign Minister warns U S must finish Vietnam job or quit

Thai Foreign Minister Thanat Khoman warned Monday that the United States and allies must finish the Vietnam job or face a possible third world war. He indicated Thailand might increase its aid beyond the Cobra division and did not rule out intervention in Laos if Communist expansion persists. He denied reports of anti American sentiment in Thailand, saying the fuss is a campaign of slander by some American writers and reporters. He stressed the American public would bear the risk if the U S caves in and abandoned Southeast Asia.
