Johns accused of contacting wife from jail in Iowa City
Kenneth Johns, 48, of Coralville, made three jail calls to his estranged wife within 30 minutes from Johnson County Jail, violating a protective order. He appeared in court on March 10 facing charges including domestic abuse while displaying a weapon and assault causing bodily inj ury. A no contact order was reaffirmed, with the judge noting it is imposed by the court.
