Coralville police say gun traces take months with one case still unanswered since July. The Johnson County Drug Task Force, combining Iowa City Coralville University of Iowa and others, traces nearly all guns tied to drug cases and notes rifles seized on Megabus linked to stolen guns from near Des Moines.
