Grant Wood AEA board reviews terminations amid budget cuts
At a meeting in a larger room the Grant Wood AEA discussed staff terminations tied to a 1 million plus 1981 82 budget cut. Board members and staff argued salaries bear the bulk of cuts while Dwight Bode faced criticism over his 2 000 salary increase. Proposals from Drs Rodee Cordes and Ehlinger to reduce terminations are due March 24 as state and federal funding declines loom.
