Iowa Coralville and state settle with bike accident victim
Bridgid Ruden of Coralville will receive 1.2 million dollars from the city of Coralville the state of Iowa and Horsfield Construction after a May 24 2008 bicycle crash on the North Ridge Trail at the University of Iowas Oakdale campus left her with traumatic brain injury and epilepsy. The settlement avoids a Johnson County trial and allocates 600000 from Coralville 200000 from the state and 400000 from Horsfield.
