Congress Eyes Fed Policy Change in 1983 Budget Plan

The plan calls for military-spending cuts, freezing non-defense outlays at 1982 levels, and rolling back the 1983 tax cut, while Republicans oppose changing Reagan policies. Tip for restoring a broom’s life and proper storage
A new broom’s bristles can soften when soaked in hot water. Reshape by wrapping a large rubber band around the bottom. Hang the broom on a hook in the closet. Do not leave it standing upright. Create a rubber stopper from an old glove to prevent it sliding or falling when leaned against a wall.
