Three Charges Follow Complaint At Iowa City
John C. Dundon 23 appeared before Police Judge Joseph Thornton and was remanded for trial on robbery with aggravation linked to a 1:30 a.m. Sunday incident at his residence. Dundon held on 20000 bond in Johnson County Jail. Arthur Sierra reported being robbed at gunpoint of 100 dollars. David Eugene Thomas and a 17 year old youth allegedly fled. Marijuana found on the youths. Thomas held on 1000 bond. Juvenile turned over to authorities.

Five Die In Worcester Rooming House Fire
In Worcester Massachusetts firemen found a fifth body as the ruins of a rooming house in the business district burned. Firefighting units battled flames for two hours and residents were rescued from upper floors stairwells windows and a rear escape. The roof and top floors collapsed as firefighters worked.

Decorah family members among five hurt in highway crash
Three members of a Decorah family were hurt in a two car collision nine miles south of New Hampton on highway 63. Bruce Hansen 15 was driver of the Decorah car while Elton Lubbert 56 of Waterloo drove the other. Hansen 15 his mother Carol Hansen 40 and sister Cheryl 13 were in fair condition at New Hampton hospital Monday. Lubbert was in fair condition at New Hampton. His granddaughter Sandy Lybbert of Waterloo was treated and released.
