Johnson County scales down solar plan with Moxie Solar

Johnson County Iowa trims its solar project from a roof mounted 140 kWh array to an on site ground mounted 85 kWh system. The county aims to sign a reduced 10 year power purchase agreement with Moxie Solar though MidAmerican Energy rules limit energy banking. Officials hope to start construction this year and have electricity flowing by summer.

Iowa drops appeal over voting rolls ruling
