Cedar Rapids Hy-Vee Tops Iowa Lottery Sales In 2008
The Hy-Vee at 20 Wilson Ave SW Cedar Rapids led Iowa Lottery sales last fiscal year with $833,902 in state sales, as Cedar Rapids ranked second in total sales among nearly 600 towns. A second Cedar Rapids Hy-Vee also ranked high, with Clinton and Ottumwa leading per outlet and per capita metrics in other top cities. The Iowa Lottery totaled over $249.2 million in sales and $144.7 million in prizes for the year.
