Norwalk Connecticut radio station WNLK canceled Sunday air time for South Norwalk Methodist church after protests over Henry A Wallace’s remarks about Catholicism. President Benjamin Ginzburg said Wallace’s speech was unannounced political content on a religious program and urged reallocation of the hours to another church.

The US military appeals court reduced the sentence of Mrs Wilma Ybarbo from twenty years to five for killing her soldier husband Sgt John Ybarbo in Marburg Germany. The court upheld US civilian and German law jurisdiction in occupied Germany and limited German law sentence to five years. Mrs Ybarbo 23 of Malden Massachusetts shot her husband during an argument.
