Lawyers and city officials push a ground zero settlement offering as much as 657 million for World Trade Center responders sickened by dust and debris. Vampire wearing pipe bomb disrupts Seattle scene

A 33 year old man dressed in black wandered downtown Seattle after entering a homeless shelter and claiming to be a vampire. He wore a device resembling a pipe bomb taped to his wrist and threatened to blow up the building before surrendering to police. The device was not found to be real, but officers treated it as a bomb during the incident at Third and James near the King County Courthouse. The man was questioned and later taken to King County jail for threats to bomb. The downtown intersection was closed for about two hours.
