Water levels to rise this summer in Great Lakes area
The U S Army Corps of Engineers says Lakes Michigan and Huron will gain about 8 inches, while Lake St Clair and Lake Erie rise around 5 inches. A wetter fall and snowpack could push water higher by spring, easing boating and shipping concerns noted by locals.
